I have been in Information Security since 1997 and have had the pleasure provided consulting services for Facebook, Kohler, UnitedHealth Group, Wells Fargo, Best Buy, Pershing Square, and many others. I started and built RedTeam Security, a cybersecurity consulting firm, from its foundation to a million-dollar firm. RedTeam is a global provider of red teaming services and eventually became the subject of a viral mini-documentary, Hacking the Grid, based on my physical red team expertise.
Along my 22-year career, I authored two security books, The Social Engineer's Playbook and Physical Red Team Operations. I have been fortunate to have started and sold two other companies, served as CISO for a Healthcare firm and authored two patents. I have been interviewed by Adam Housley on FOX News, Yahoo! Finance, CNN, CIO Magazine, PenTest Magazine, and many others.
This provided a high-level perspective of core MBA disciplines, including economics, accounting, finance, marketing and management. It provided insight how to grow my company competitively and capitalize on synergies that increased efficientcy, productivity, and profitability.
The Master of Science in Information Security and Assurance program is closely aligned with the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Edeucation with input from those at the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and National Security Agency.
The Bachelor of Arts program at Thomas Edison provided a well-rounded degree complete with strategies leveraged by leaders in the way of workplace psychology, ethics, human interaction, and emotional intelligence. Although not a technical degree, this was one of the most beneficial and I borrow knowledge from it every day.
